Passages Charter School is a public charter school currently serving scholars ages 15 months through 8th grade. Passages offers a tailored educational program focused on high academic standards and instruction based on students’ individual needs, with a special focus on the needs of immigrant and refugee students.

Every student is expected to perform at or above grade level. We follow many strategies to improve student achievement.
School Day Information
Our school doors open Monday-Friday from 7:55 am to 3:30 pm. Passages offers free morning care starting at 7 am daily and a tuition-based after-school program for students daily until 5:30 pm.
Highly Qualified Staff with Global Perspective
Our staff bring unique and various perspectives and speak several languages, including Burmese, Arabic, Spanish, Somali, and others. More than 75 percent of our teachers have post-secondary degrees.
Small Class Size
Our average class size is 21 students, which allows for more individual attention and education that is matched to students’ needs.
Strong Parent Network
Passages has an active parent/teacher group that supports all school activities.
Connection to Social Services at AHS
The programs and services offered by AHS are available to Passages’ families. We are able to provide adult literacy classes, computer training, youth services, employment services, and health education.
Behavioral Health Services
Children who are struggling to succeed for any reason receive individualized support through close collaboration with AHS’s Behavorial Health Program.
