Psychiatrist (contract)
Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Medical Director and Mental Health Director, the Psychiatrist's major function is to provide psychiatric services from June 1, 2013 in a Mental Health Outpatient setting for 8 hours a week that serves Asian refugees and immigrants and other underserved communities. Salary commensurate with experience. Accepting resumes until May 15, 2013
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric evaluations/re-evaluations
- Provide management of psychiatric medications
- Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals on treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Participate in continuing medical education and training program
- Participate in quarterly psychiatric meetings
Qualifications (Skills/Knowledge/Abilities):
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Licensed by the State of Illinois
- Board Certified or eligible Psychiatrist
